New Dawn Report: Genuine Transformation

We had a very fruitful trip. The community and students are experiencing genuine transformation.

We held two Pastor’s conferences; one in Central Provence, Kenya and the other in Tanzania. We are looking at some land at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro for our next community.

We presented the staff at New Dawn with some training, seeking to expand their vision of what they are devoting themselves to. The following is a revised copy of some of the aspects of our community. Our vision is expanded as well.

Habakkuk 2:1-4

Primary purpose

The primary function of New Dawn Communities is to bring genuine help, hope, and healing to the hurting. This is accomplished by coming along side indigenous people in their need and showing them the love of Christ through following the example of Christ through practical application.

Our ultimate goal

We believe these lives, which hang in the balance, are dear to God. With an emphasis on leadership development, we are seeking to nurture the unique God given gifts in each one, while instilling the knowledge and desire to apply their talents in various opportunities and the courage to step into significant roles of responsibility within their society.
“We are raising up Christ centered world changers.”

What are “means”? Anything to share; such as finances, experience, skills, equipment, knowledge, wisdom, opportunity, network, time, etc,

What does it mean to “CARE”? Simply having a desire to share what you have been blessed with.

If you are:

Compassionate
Available
Responsible
Enthusiastic … then you CARE enough to make a difference!

I hope you are blessed in the Lord and are finding ways and means to be a blessing to others in a significant way.

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you want to get more info or get invoulved.

Back From Kenya; Time to Give Thanks

Just a quick note to let you know Pastor Ron is expected back from his trip to Kenya and other parts of Africa tomorrow (Sat. 11/17).

We look forward to hearing about how God is working in that part of the world. We praise Him who has given so abundantly in all things.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:6,7

Thanksgiving Prayer

Thank you Lord, for all you do! We are nothing without you. Please help us to always be thankful of you…to not stray and grow weary. Equip us Lord, to go out into this fallen world and be your Light. Thank you for your Word…in Christ’s name, Amen!

I’m excited about posting right here about the trip and seeing this blog grow.

I can be contacted at alexmurashko@yahoo.com.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving everyone!
